FROM THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA:

• Take I-95 North to I-26

• Take I-26 to Spartanburg, SC

• In Spartanburg, get on I-85 North and go toward Charlotte about 6 miles

• Exit on to US 221 North and stay on US 221 all the way to Linville, NC (watch out for the bypass in Marion, NC--speed limit is strictly enforced)

• At the dead end in Linville, turn right and go about 6/10 mile to the traffic light at Hwy. 105

• Turn left and go 4 miles to a traffic light at Hwy. 184 (Lowe's grocery is at this intersection)

• Turn left (right, if coming from Boone) and go 1 mile. Blue Ridge Village will be on your right. Turn left at Grouse Moor Drive and follow the signs to the top of Sugar Mountain and Sugar Top.

FROM ATLANTA, SOUTH GEORGIA, OR THE WEST COAST OF FLORIDA:

• Take I-85 North toward Charlotte

FROM CHARLOTTE, MYRTLE BEACH OR OTHER AREAS OF SOUTH CAROLINA BY WAY OF CHARLOTTE:
(You have two choices)
Option One: From downtown Charlotte or I-77

• Take I-77 North to US 421. Take US 421 into Boone

• As you get into Boone, turn left onto Hwy. 105 (Linville Highway)

• Take 105 about 14 miles to the traffic light at Hwy. 184 and turn right.

• Go 1 mile. Blue Ridge Village will be on your right. Turn left at Grouse Moor Drive and follow the signs to the top of Sugar Mountain and Sugar Top.

Option Two: From West Charlotte

• Take US 321 to Hickory, Lenoir, Blowing Rock and then Boone. In Boone, look for WENDY'S on your left. Turn left onto Hwy. 105 and go 13 miles to the traffic light at Hwy. 184 and turn right.

• Go 1 mile. Blue Ridge Village will be on your right. Turn left at Grouse Moor Drive and follow the signs to the top of Sugar Mountain and Sugar Top.

FROM RALEIGH, EASTERN NC, OUTER BANKS, ETC.:

• Get to Winston-Salem the best way possible (I-40)

• Pick up US 421 to Boone (off of I-40).

• As you get into Boone, turn left onto Hwy. 105 (Linville Highway)

• Take 105 about 14 miles to the traffic light at Hwy. 184 and turn right.

• Go 1 mile. Blue Ridge Village will be on your right. Turn left at Grouse Moor Drive and follow the signs to the top of Sugar Mountain and Sugar Top.

FROM FAR WESTERN NC, ASHEVILLE, WAYNESVILLE, FRANKLIN, MURPHY:

• Get to Asheville the most efficient way possible.

• Take I-40 East--go over Old Fort Mountain and take the US 70 exit at Old Fort.

• Take US 70 to Marion

• Exit on to US 221 North and stay on US 221 all the way to Linville, NC (watch out for the bypass in Marion, NC--speed limit is strictly enforced)

• At the dead end in Linville, turn right and go about 6/10 mile to the traffic light at Hwy. 105

• Turn left and go 4 miles to a traffic light at Hwy. 184 (Lowe's grocery is at this intersection)

• Turn left (right, if coming from Boone) and go 1 mile. Blue Ridge Village will be on your right. Turn left at Grouse Moor Drive and follow the signs to the top of Sugar Mountain and Sugar Top.

FROM EAST TENNESSEE, KNOXVILLE, CHATTANOOGA, NASHVILLE, KENTUCKY:

• Get to Knoxville the most efficient way possible

• Take I-40 East out of Knoxville to I-81 North

• Take I-81 North and exit right onto I-181 and on into Johnson City

• Go through Johnson City on I-181 and exit onto TN 67 to Elizabethton

• Take TN 67 through Elizabethton and pick up US 321 and US 19-E to Hampton and Roan Mountain. DO NOT turn left onto US 321 to Boone in Hampton. Stay on US 19-E through Roan Mountain and Elk Park, NC.

• At the TIMES SQUARE motel outside Elk Park, turn left onto Hwy. 194 to Banner Elk

• After you pass the airport runway coming into Banner Elk, you will go through a curvy patch of road and see the Sunrise Shopping Center on your left. Go straight until you get to the one-and-only stop light in Banner Elk.

• Turn right at the traffic light and go about three miles. You will see Grouse Moor Drive on your right. Follow it to the top of the mountain.
