Also, this time of year is perfect for tennis, fishing, horseback riding, and hiking, which abounds throughout Sugar Mountain.

In autumn, Sugar Mountain NC becomes a leaf watcher's paradise as the mountain slopes turn colors of vibrant reds and oranges. Temperatures dip into the low 40's usually at night during these months, however the crisp autumn days are perfect for hiking or mountain biking around Sugar Mountain. In the winter, Sugar Mountain becomes a white wonderland and a skiers dream!
