Sugartop has 320 units and owners, 98 parking spots are available on top next to the condos.These are reserved for the owners and their families

During our busy seasons and holidays when owners are present, Sugar Top provides a 24/7 Shuttle for our guests. .

Lower parking lots are available for 850 cars, our lots begin at Lot A- Lot G.
Our guests are parked in lower parking lots and the shuttle is used to bring guests from their cars to our lobby front doors.

Please contact Sugar Top if you have questions on the shuttle.

Pool water and hot tub temperature
Our hot tubs and pool are set to NC Public Health code and checked on a daily basis.
Sugartop cannot and will not deviate from this.
The pools and hot tubs have maintenance performed on them every morning, our guest can use those facilities at 9 am -11 pm

Sugartop does not have A/C , the buildings designers did not engineer A/C.
At almost 1 mile high the winds are constantly stirring.
Many units have ceiling fans to help facilitate air movement.
Please note at almost 1 mile high the air is thinner , if you have respiratory issues please check with your physician before visiting.

All fireplaces are wood burning with the exception of a small number of electric fireplace inserts.

Please check with the rental agency to see what they have available

It is advised to purchase wood from Food Lion or Lowes Food in bundles.

Sugartop does not provide or sell wood.Please be aware of High Wind signs on the elevator doors, if those are posted do not burn the fireplace.
The winds will come down the fireplace and produce smoke in the unit , which in turn will set of an alarm in the unit and at the front desk.

The units only have a 38 gallon water heater , due to space limitations.
This only permits a 3-5 minute shower before the heater needs to recycle and reheat. .

All questions concerning condo supplies should be addressed to the Rental Agency or whom the unit was leased though.
Sugartop does not have supplies available.

Owners are permitted pets that weigh less than 40lbs at maturity. The pet has to be registered and approved by the board.
One pet is permitted per unit.
Guests are not allowed to have pets on Sugar Top property.
Sugar Top recognizes emotional support and service animals , for Owners and Guests.
Please advise Sugar Top Resort and the Rental Agency that you will produce the necessary documentation before checking into Sugar Top and.you are bringing an emotional support animal.
